Effective 2026-08-25. Covers this website and the Greenlight Athletics mobile app.

Greenhouse Performance Solutions LLC ("Greenhouse," "we," "us") builds Greenlight Athletics, an app coaches and performance staff use to film and analyze sprint testing. This page explains what the app and this website collect, why, and what a coach, organization or athlete can do about it.

Who uses the app, and whose data it holds

Greenlight is used by coaches and performance staff, who hold the account. As of this version, athletes do not have their own accounts or log in — a coach or organization enters an athlete's information and records their testing on their behalf, as part of ordinary athletic testing and program administration. Many athletes recorded this way are minors. We rely on the organization using the app to have whatever consent or authority it already needs to collect and hold that athlete's information — the same consent it would need to test that athlete with a stopwatch and a clipboard.

What we collect

Data Where it comes from
Coach/staff email address Account sign-in (Firebase Authentication)
Athlete name, age or date of birth, sex, mass, height, team Entered by the coach or organization when building a roster
Video of the athlete during a test Captured in-app, or imported from footage already shot
Precise device location Requested at capture time, for the weather lookup below
Split times, sprint metrics and the video analysis produced from a test Computed by our analysis service from the video

We do not use advertising or analytics tracking software in the app, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

Why we ask for location

A sprint test is analyzed alongside the air temperature and pressure at the place and moment it was recorded, which the app's physics model needs to correct for air resistance. Location is used to look up that weather automatically, from the coordinates and timestamp of the recording only — never a name or account identifier — so nobody has to enter it by hand. It is not used to track a device's movement over time, and is not shared for advertising.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run the app, and share only what each one needs to do its job:

  • Google Cloud and Firebase host the app's accounts, database, video storage and analysis service. Data is stored on Google's infrastructure in the United States.
  • Open-Meteo, a weather data provider, receives the coordinates and timestamp of a recording to return temperature and pressure — nothing that identifies the athlete, the coach or the organization.

We do not share athlete data with other coaches, teams or organizations on the platform. Each organization's roster, video and results are isolated from every other organization's, enforced on our servers rather than only in the app.

How long we keep it

Testing records and video are kept so a result can always be traced back to the footage it came from and re-checked later — there is currently no automatic deletion after a set period. An athlete or team removed from an organization's roster is archived rather than deleted, so past results stay intact for the organization that recorded them. A completed test record is not silently altered after the fact.

Access, correction and deletion

Because athletes do not hold accounts, requests about an athlete's information should generally go through the coach or organization that entered it — they can update or remove an athlete from their own roster. If that is not possible, or the request is about an organization's own account data, contact us directly at the address below and we will carry it out.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to an organization's roster, video and results is restricted to members of that organization and enforced by server-side rules rather than relying on the app alone. Staff access for support or correction purposes is limited to what a given task needs and is logged.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version here.
